Low VOC emissions: During the production process, water-based ink hardly emits volatile organic gases (VOCs) into the atmosphere. - Convenient and environmentally friendly cleaning: During the printing process, it is necessary to regularly clean the printing plate. Using solvent based ink printing requires a large amount of organic solvent cleaning solution, while water-based ink printing mainly uses water as the cleaning medium. The cleaning operation is simple and convenient, reducing the demand and use of organic solvents, lowering cleaning costs and environmental pollution.
- Reduce resource consumption: Water based ink has a higher solid content and can be deposited on thinner ink films. Compared to solvent based ink, its coating amount (the amount of ink consumed per unit printing area) is less, which can reduce the coating amount by about 10%, thus saving resources to a certain extent.
- Biodegradable: Some components in water-based ink are more easily biodegradable in the natural environment. Compared to traditional ink that remains in soil or water for a long time and is difficult to degrade, water-based ink has a smaller long-term impact on the environment and is more in line with the requirements of sustainable development.
