Dog pee pads rely on a multi-layer structure working in synergy to deliver urine diversion, liquid locking and leakproof performance, keeping floor surfaces dry.

Step 1: Rapid Liquid Diversion & Urine Penetration Through the Top Layer

When a dog urinates onto the top non-woven fabric of the pee pad, the highly permeable non-woven material instantly channels urine downward. It prevents liquid pooling on the pad surface, keeps the dog's paws dry, and stops urine from spreading out.

Step 2: Liquid Dispersion to Maximize Absorption Area

After passing through the top layer, urine flows into the absorbent layer composed of fluff pulp and SAP. The fluff pulp quickly spreads urine evenly across the layer instead of concentrating it in one spot, making full use of the absorbent capacity of the entire pad.

Step 3: SAP Locks Moisture and Turns Liquid into Gel

SAP particles inside the absorbent layer swell rapidly upon contact with urine, converting liquid urine into gel. Moisture remains trapped within the SAP, and back-leakage will not occur under moderate pressure.

Step 4: Bottom PE Film Prevents Liquid from Seeping to the Floor

Beneath the absorbent layer lies a waterproof PE film. This impermeable layer blocks liquid from seeping onto floors or carpets and protects surfaces from urine stains and contamination.

Note: Pee pads should be replaced promptly once maximum absorption capacity is reached to avoid leakage and bacterial growth.
