Incoming Quality Control
All raw materials and packaging materials are subject to stringent incoming inspection upon arrival, including wood pulp, SAP, tissue paper and more. Nonwoven fabrics and PE films self-manufactured by Tianjin Yiyi also undergo inspection prior to production. Inspection items cover color, tensile strength, waterproof performance, hydrophilicity and printing effect. Raw materials can only be warehoused and put into production once all indicators meet standards, eliminating finished product quality risks caused by defective raw materials at the source.
In-Process Quality Control
During manufacturing, Tianjin Yiyi implements in-process inspection to realize real-time quality monitoring across the whole production line. On one hand, we carry out first article confirmation, on-machine testing and patrol inspection on production lines, verifying product appearance, color, lamination, cutting, folding, dimension, basis weight, packaging, leakproof performance and absorbency item by item. On the other hand, our laboratory conducts simultaneous professional tests including leak test, absorption capacity test, absorption rate test, rewet test and odor control test. Any abnormalities detected during production will be adjusted immediately.
Final Quality Control
After production, finished products enter the final inspection phase via sampling tests. Inspection items involve appearance, dimension, basis weight, packaging and printing quality. Functional indicators such as absorbency, absorption speed, leak resistance, rewet performance and deodorization will be re-tested. Only finished products passing all inspections can proceed to shipment.
Flexible Inspection Modes Available
Upon completion of final quality control, Tianjin Yiyi offers two inspection modes to flexibly satisfy audit requirements from different overseas customers.
- On-site inspection by third-party or customers: We assign dedicated coordinators to accompany customers or third-party inspectors throughout on-site inspection and fully support on-site verification.
- In-house self-inspection: Tianjin Yiyi holds self-inspection qualification recognized by numerous clients. Our internal QC personnel receive regular professional training, perform inspections in strict accordance with customer specifications and issue official self-inspection reports to fulfill delivery requirements.
