The world’s leading retailer is rolling out a new system in Oklahoma and Arkansas, eying expansion to other states in the near future.

Walmart has partnered with recycling company TerraCycle for recycling hubs in three different stores, two Walmart shops in Springdale (Arkansas) and Broken Arrow (Oklahoma), and one Sam’s Club at Fayetteville (Arkansas).

The recycling center accepts plastic pet food bags, pouches, treats, and packaging, as well as plastic kitty litter, birdseed, and cedar chip bags.

When the bins are full, the items are transported to regional facilities, where they’re recycled into raw materials that can be used to make new products, such as playgrounds and park benches, according to New Jersey-based TerraCycle.
