The 8-layer materials of Tianjin Yiyi Dog Pee Pads and their impacts on the pads are as follows:
st Layer (Surface Layer): Long fiber spunbond non-woven fabric produced by Tianjin Yiyi. As the layer in direct contact with pets, this material has a fine, soft, and smooth texture, ensuring high comfort. It also boasts good toughness (not easy to tear) and excellent permeability, allowing urine to quickly seep downward.
nd Layer: German Henkel hot-melt adhesive. With extremely low formaldehyde content, it meets safety standards. It plays a bonding role, ensuring the overall structural stability of the pee pad.
rd Layer: Diamond-shaped diversion layer. Made of domestic toilet paper, it works with the rapid permeability of the surface layer to quickly disperse urine across the entire pad, preventing leakage caused by local accumulation. Meanwhile, the full-piece paper maintains the stability of the absorption structure.
th Layer: U.S. Georgia-Pacific fluff pulp. It has good water absorption and water retention capabilities, enabling it to quickly catch urine and achieve initial dispersion-laying the foundation for subsequent absorption by the superabsorbent polymer.
th Layer: Japanese Sumitomo superabsorbent polymer (SAP). As the core water-absorbing material of the pee pad, it rapidly swells into a gel when in contact with liquid, with an absorption rate of up to 200 times. It can effectively lock in moisture with extremely low rewet rate, keeping the pad surface dry quickly.
th Layer: Toilet paper. It has a certain absorption effect and, together with the toilet paper in the 3rd layer, maintains the stability of the absorption structure (the polymer and fluff pulp in the absorption layer are evenly dispersed across the entire pad).
th Layer: Hot-melt adhesive. It plays the role of fixing and bonding layers again, ensuring the pad does not easily delaminate during use and maintaining stable performance.
th Layer (Bottom Layer): Thickened PE waterproof film. It can effectively prevent urine from seeping into the floor, protecting floors, carpets, and other furniture from urine contamination.
